Although their size decreased, domestic and abroad fans’ interests have grown more.
The ‘fan exposition’ that makes headlines
every year as a ‘large, great service’ for fans of group JYJ, will be
held without fail this year again. JYJ is unfolding ‘2015 JYJ Membership
Week’ at Seoul Art Musem in Buam-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul from August 17
to August 30. Members Kim Jaejoong, Park Yuchun, Kim Junsu are revealing
various images of them under the title ‘Time…will have to keep going
on’ in their fan exposition this time designed as a photo exhibition.
JYJ has been conducting the ‘Membership
Week’ that gathers the diversified activities of group JYJ annually
since 2012. It is viewed for free by fans and well-received as a space
to interact with the group members.
Most of all, they have heightened the
level of closeness by arranging a space where their fans can experience
and participate in trying on their fashion and props, like their stage
costumes and etc.; or make stickers.
Just this
year, there was the situation where Kim Jaejoong enlisted in March 31,
and Park Yuchun also has his enlistment ahead on August 27; their group
size decreased somewhat. In turn, their fans might have disappeared from
the space where they can personally experience and enjoy. But JYJ is
expected to present a satisfactory attraction for fans, since they
dramatically increased the hosting period to 2 weeks and ceased doing
3∼4 days. Anticipations are raising up over them sufficiently capturing
fans’ attention; by displaying a lot of photos of the members and etc.
At JYJ’s ‘Membership Week’, JYJ has
prospered with success with more than 4000 overseas fans from Japan
visiting every year. They are recognized as an example of new
fanservice. It looks like there will be a lot of oversea fans visiting
even this year. Like year after year for JYJ, Park Yuchun and Kim Junsu
will meet fans through a fanmeeting and sit down individually at Jamsil
Indoor Stadium in Seoul on August 25. In particular Park Yuchun will say
his last thoughts before enlisting. Kim Jaejoong has planned to appease
fans’ regrets by surprisingly releasing a letter and video that he had
written before he enlisted, and more.

An official for the recording studio said, “Originally we were expecting it to take about 30 minutes but there was a lot of NGs in the process of Park Yuchun-ssi adjusting his tone and controlling his emotions welling up. My work took over 4 hours,” and, “He is a Hallyu star who overwhelms the atmosphere onstage, but he is an immensely modest and pure young man when recording”.
Park Yuchun saw Yoo Ye-eun, who became a middle-school student while it was post-production, on the screen; and felt swept up in his emotions for a while. He was surprised, saying, “Yoo Ye-eun has grown up big like that already?” and when there is an image where she contests to participate in a competition and lose her eyesight, he was moved to suppressed tears watching with a bright, open-minded, innocent expression more than anyone else.
It is said that JYJ fans sold out the movie theater early and the 11th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival officials ascertained whether it was an electronic error or not at the time.

JYJ Park Yoochun to Enlist for Mandatory Military Service Quietly in Late August
Through an official press release, his agency C-JeS Entertainment announced that the star will be enlisting without any fanfare on August 27. The official statement read that the actor has voiced his wish to enlist quietly in privacy.
