JYJ Park Yoo Chun will be enlisting in August.
C-JeS Entertainment confirmed to Star News on the afternoon of May 31, “Park Yoo Chun will be focusing on his military duties starting August 27.”
“Other than that, we don’t know any specific details, so it’s hard to say anything.”
Park Yoo Chun, who just recently wrapped up the drama “The Girl Who Sees Smells,” will be the second member of JYJ to enlist this year, following member Kim Jaejoong.

JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun Puts Cooking Skills to Test at Fan Meeting
Inspired by the popular variety show “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator,” the star unleashed his inner chef and came up with tasty dishes for his fans, entertaining the audience with his cooking skills and showmanship. Using a few simple ingredients, he prepared a spicy yet refreshing noodle dish and another one highlighting butter squid, which were both well received by a few lucky fans who got to taste the food.
Park Yoo Chun also thanked fans for the success of his film “Sea Fog,” sat down to discuss various topics, and sang his go-to karaoke tracks. His second fan meeting took place on May 31.
Meanwhile, it was confirmed earlier today that Park Yoo Chun is preparing to enlist in the military in August.

expressions through his acting in the drama "Triangle". The
singer-cum-actor expressed his gratitude to his Japanese fans who have
supported him for a long time.

powerful acting, mesmerizing singing voice and, above all, his
eye-catching looks all drive fans of South Korean superstar Kim Jae
Joong wild.
When
an article featuring Kim appeared in the evening edition of The Yomiuri
Shimbun on May 13, not only did all copies sell out at newsstands but
stocks at Yomiuri Shimbun offices also disappeared by the end of the
day.
Having
long been successful as a singer, Kim is spreading his wings in acting,
with his first starring role in a TV drama last year. In the show,
called “Triangle,” he realized the importance of eye expressions.
“If you are always acting with similar movements, the audience will get bored. So, I’m acting with my eyes,” the 29-year-old said.

Born
in South Korea in 1986, Kim debuted in the showbiz world in 2004 as a
member of the boy band TVXQ, known as Tohoshinki in Japanese. Since
2010, he has been active as part of the three-member JYJ as well as
having a solo career. In 2010, he made his acting debut in Japan in a
serial drama on the Fuji TV network.
His
fans have certainly realized this already, but what makes his looks
particularly attractive are the diverse expressions he shows. He
sometimes looks incredibly cool and at other times, adorable. He
occasionally shows mysterious expressions. He has such a variety of
expressions that you wonder whether it’s the same person.
It was the same on the day of his interview with Yomiuri Shimbun.
During
the photo shoot, his facial expressions were constantly changing. This
flexibility was thoroughly expressed in the drama “Triangle” which he
explained is a story in which the protagonist has lost his memories and
grows while overcoming difficulties.
Acting
and music are completely different, Kim said. In music, I’m in the
center, so I can entirely be what “Jae Joong” is, he said. “But in
acting, the role is there first, and I have to put “Jae Joong” into the
character. I’m not satisfied at all with how I am now as an actor.”
He
seems too hard on himself. In the eyes of this reporter, he already
succeeded in appropriately expressing the character’s feelings without
overacting.” With this comment, he softened his grim expression and
said, “I try to minimize body movement, and put importance into the
expression of my eyes.”
Kim’s biggest attraction certainly is his sharp, big yes. But, what is the power of eye expressions?
“During
the shooting of “Triangle”, I realized it’s possible to express a
variety of emotions by slightly moving my eyes”, he said. “Eyes
precisely correspond to your emotions, which move from moment to moment,
subtly changing how you look. Eye expressions enable you to act in a
variety of ways, even better than with your body. So, I thought, why not
try this?”

Gratitude to Japan
Kim
says he owes a lot to Japan regarding his career. “I learned both
Japanese and acting by watching a lot of Japanese dramas. I’m so
grateful.”, he said. “If it’s a serial drama, I would watch the entire
series from the first to the last, in one day. I’ve watched most of the
hit dramas, and I’ve probably seen a lot of dramas starring Kimutaku-san
(Takuya Kimura). In addition to the Japanese dramas, Kim also said he
was greatly influenced by Japanese rock music.
He
is a great Japanophile and grateful to his Japanese fans. “I'm really
grateful to those who have supported me for a long time. From South
Korea, I’ve been sending my appreciation toward you. I’m always trying
my hardest to study Japanese so that I won’t forget it.”, he said.
Kim
said he was wrapped up in doing something out of the ordinary –
anonymously selling off his personal belongings. Why did he start that?
“I
wanted to get away from having an attachment to things.”, he said. “If
you waste all your time on something, you won’t be able to use that time
with someone who is important to you.”
“Money
and goods won’t make people happy.”, Kim said. “What makes people happy
is other people, so I’d like to treasure my fans more than before.”

CJeS Entertainment said, “On May 29, Park Yuchun released a surprise message and picture on JYJ’s official Facebook prior to his solo fan meeting ‘Housewarming party: Epi 2’. After his post on SNS, it became a hot issue among the fans.”
In the photo, he made a heart above his head and gave a shy smile. He said, “It has been exactly a year! Let’s have a good time tomorrow” in the message. Particularly, when he disclosed the picture, it raised the fans’ expectations.
The manager of his agency said, “The event has lots of programs that many fans can enjoy together. Park Yuchun also prepared a surprise stage for the fans, so they can anticipate. It will be a fan meeting that everyone can be one.”

Although there were many people who
stands out exceptionally among others, two persons out of the male dance
team had considerably high popularity in school at that time and were
truly promising, budding boys; who equally possess dancing, singing, and
rapping talent.
While going to middle school Junsu was
competing side by side with the female dancer team, and the two persons’
talents started improving very quickly and became famous to the extent
that they were in the local newspaper; and eventually at the end of
middle school, they became a famous agency’s trainees. At that point
then, I thought about their path because I didn’t have an understanding
about the singer debut system, to the extent that the word ‘trainee’ was
unfamiliar.

Kim Jae Joong learns the power of eye expression in ‘Triangle'

When an article featuring Kim appeared in the evening edition of The Yomiuri Shimbun on May 13, not only did all copies sell out at newsstands but stocks at Yomiuri Shimbun offices also disappeared by the end of the day.
Having long been successful as a singer, Kim is spreading his wings in acting, with his first starring role in a TV drama last year. In the show, called “Triangle,” he realized the importance of eye expressions.
“If you are always acting with similar movements, the audience will get bored. So, I’m acting with my eyes,” the 29-year-old said.
Born in South Korea in 1986, Kim debuted in the showbiz world in 2004 as a member of the boy band TVXQ, known as Tohoshinki in Japanese. Since 2010, he has been active as part of the three-member JYJ as well as having a solo career.

Dancer reveals photo with JYJ Kim Jae Joong from the army
In the photo, Choi HIMCHAN is seen with his hands around Kim Jae Joong’s shoulders, while the latter is posing with the victory sign. Kim Jae Joong is also seen letting his tongue out, and looked really mischievous with his pose.
Choi HIMCHAN wrote, “BOSS & JJ! The army fashionistas, we can even go to Milan. We are already 30, and it’s been 15 years. We are going to be promoted soon. I love you my friend. Please show lots of support! It’s vacation time. I will fill my hands with hot piping fried chicken, and come find you.”
Kim Jae Joong enlisted in the army on March 31st of this year, and recently completed his five weeks of basic training. He has since been assigned to the 55th Infantry Division, and will be discharged on December 30th of 2016 after completing his mandatory service.

Musical actor Kang Hong-seok mentioned JYJ Kim Junsu.
Kang Hong-seok said, “I felt that he is
very passionate while doing the profile shooting,” about Kim Junsu –who
will be appearing with him in musical ‘Death Note’ that they are in the
middle of rehearsing for– in his interview with MBN Star that was
conducted recently.
Continuing he added, “If I am also
passionate, I tend to not get outdone wherever I go, but Kim Junsu is
passionate enough filled with fire in his eyes on each side,” “He is no
joke,” and lavished his praises.
Kang Hong-seok had gone to visit Kim
Junsu at his solo concert held last month and did not leave out the
story, too. He said, “I heard him singing at the top of his lungs while
performing. He was singing passionately, standing with the veins on his
neck stick out; and he was so cool,” “I had the thought that he wouldn’t
let himself get outdone in passion,” and showed a smile.

Park Yoo Chun creates wonderful memories with Japanese fans at fan meeting
The fan meeting was held on May 24th at the Convention Center Grand Ball Room inside 63 Building in Seoul, as he met over 1,500 Japanese fans who had flown over to Korea from Japan.
Park Yoo Chun not only conversed freely with fans on the day, but also sang the OST from his drama ‘The Girl Who Sees Smells,’ and left the three hour long fan meeting progress smoothly without any boredom.
As the fan meeting neared its conclusion, Park Yoo Chun said, “I’m really grateful to my fans who have stood by me, and showed me lots of support. I will begin filming for my movie ‘Lucid Dream’ really soon, and I will work really hard to let everyone see the best side of me through the movie.”
Meanwhile, Park Yoo Chun will be holding his ‘Housewarming party: Epi 2′ fan meeting at Seoul’s Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium on May 30th and 31st.
