～About life in Japan
I think I've finally got used to living in Japan. Last year, I often said, "I don't feel like I'm abroad." Recently, however, I have an incalculable anxiety, I can't keep calm such as "If I make a mistake now, what should I do?" That may be because I am abroad, but to practice a lot and to gain confidence is the only way in order to relieve anxiety. I think so and practice hard.
～About Japanese Variety Programs
I'm still anxious about Japanese, but it's fun. I was able to make a lot of appearances on the show that I wanted to appear, and on the free talk show, I’m happy because I’m able to show myself just as I am. Akashiya Sanma-san was the most interesting person I met on the show. I felt that he was going to go on his own way in order to pursue the fun, and he was great that he wasn't got the better of others.
～About flowers. About your cats
I was thinking that I would like to bring this flower back home while shooting. I am often presented flowers, so I always decorate them at my home. However, cats are at home ... both two are very scared and can't even get in the car, they are troublesome. But I want to keep more because they are cute. The other day, I bought a toilet that costs over 100,000 yen. Perhaps it is the most expensive toilet for cats in the world. Lol

As many songs as possible were sung in Japanese, from the first time ever Japanese version of 'Flower' to the shockingly (even the MV didn't prepare you for this) kawaii live rendition of 'Sakuranbo.'
He confessed he had tossed and turned all night, he was so worried about his Japanese; yet, he was nothing if not communicative, chatty and charmingly funny. His vulnerability was disarming and inviting. It was so genuine and straightfoward.
He talked about how time passed at a glacial pace in the military (the way he described it was super funny so pls wait for the videos) so he'd think over all sorts of things. One thing in particular that boggled his mind was that he had been so loved when he could give nothing.
Especially in Japan, where he had been even more absent from any kind of exposure, he had not been able "to give anything". Yet, he said, he received so much love. He said would think and think, searching himself for the reason, but he could not find the answer.
He said he wanted to sing more Japanese songs for the fans and would work on getting a Japanese album out. Since he doesn't have one yet he has and will sing covers. One day, he would like to sing a Japanese Xia song.
In the interview clip following the dance medley, he said "it's a concert that also lets fans indulge in old memories. I had done a ballad medley before, this time it's a dance medley. Cuz they're also my songs. It didn't make sense to use music by another artist."
And that, ladies and gentleman, is how you own your past and honor the memories of those who share it. He is class all the way and I love him for it.
Given that his 5 albums were in Korean, he had made every effort throughout each JP tour to put in as many familiar songs, songs that will resonate with the JP audience more, into the mix and all the medleys and covers are proof. He is keen enough to know, loving enough to give.
After Sakuranbo, he said he did it to make us laugh. Wearing a silly hat and singing what he had thought was only singable by a girl. He said he wants to make us laugh and end on a happy note. He said he will forever be inadequate but he will go on trying.
In one of the VCR interviews, Junsu was asked a series of questions i.e. If you had to choose a hyung btw 'L' vs. 'Dracula'? He answered "L! Because Dracula is a bit scary. You never know when he'll suck your blood."
For Cinderella vs. Elsa he chose Cindarella "because she spends her childhood being oppressed by her mother and sisters, so I want to help her."
On his Japanese, he said something like "It was never perfect but rn it's at it lowest level ever. If I had talked like a grade schooler before, now I talk like a preschooler." He then asked "Are there any preschoolers in the audience?"
A mother raised her 3 yr-old baby's hand and said her name was 'Xia'. Junsu was shocked (so were we) and asked why. Her mom said the baby was named after him. More shock lol. He joked "Her future is kirakira (bright and shiny)
" then said he would work hard to keep up with her.as in 'makezuni kanbaro'
Junsu said in his heart he quit being an idol but when his weight hit the 70 kg mark in the military (the highest it's ever been) he thought to himself 'This won't do' and worked hard to lose weight because he felt he owed it to fans who remembered him from 10 yrs ago.
Flower tho. I still can't believe Junsu prepared it with Japanese lyrics. That was genuinely one of the most moving moments and I'm not even Japanese.
