Kim Jae Joong's new drama, 'SPY,' is getting hot reactions in Japan.
On January 22nd, a representative of C-JeS Entertainment said, "On January 21st, Kim Jae Joong's '2015 KIM JAE JOONG J-PARTY IN YOKOHAMA' was held at Yokohama Arena."
The representative went on, "The event was held as a fan meeting and concert, and many fans showed explosive reactions for Kim Jae Joong's new drama, 'SPY.'"
During the event, Kim Jae Joong made a brief introduction about his new drama, 'SPY,' and said, "The character that I am playing has a very big difference as an ordinary son, and as an agent of National Intelligence Service. Playing and expressing the differences is quite a challenge, but that is what makes the drama more fun."
Kim Jae Joong is playing in 'SPY' as an elite agent of National Intelligent Service named Sun Woo, and he is receiving a great number of compliments for his fabulous acting.
A Japanese official said, "I heard that it has not been long since the drama premiered. However, it looked like all of the fans watched all of the episodes that were released so far, and it was quite surprising to see their hot reactions. This clearly indicates Kim Jae Joong's colossal popularity and influence."

Jaejoong, a member of the K-pop boy band JYJ, concluded a fan meeting on Thursday.
Some 25,000 fans flocked to the two-day event “2015 Kim Jae Joong J-Party in Yokohama” on Jan. 21 and 22 in Yokohama.
The event took place to celebrate Jaejoong’s upcoming Jan. 26 birthday.
The 28-year-old singer-actor appeared onstage, saying hello in Japanese. He then performed hit Japanese songs including “Goodbye Days.”

After the performance, he said, “I am just happy to sing.”
Jaejoong also gave some fans a hug, tied their hair and took photos with them.
As the event came to a close, Jaejoong said, “Thank you for coming. Take care and stay healthy.”
He will hold the same event at the Jamsil Indoor Arena, Seoul, on Monday.
The Asia’s heartthrob is currently starring as a government agent-turned-North Korean analyst in the KBS drama “Spy”.
A set of episodes of the drama airs every Friday from 9:30 p.m.

In the episode, which will be followed immediately by the sixth, Kim is seen sleeping while hounded by nightmares.
As he awakens drenched in sweat, Kim shows a new side to his usually charismatic character who has so far appeared undaunted.
According to the production staff, Kim rehearsed the scene several times and held in-depth discussions with the director in order to express his character’s complex emotions.
In contrast to his character who is hounded by nightmares and worries, Kim is said to have a bright disposition who helps keep his spirits up on set.

JYJ Releases Its Single Album In Japan
[by Woorim Ahn] JYJ is sweeping music charts in Japan.
CJeS Entertainment said, “JYJ’s Japanese single ‘Wake Me Tonight’ became a hot issue on January 21. As soon as its release, it ranked second on Oricon Daily Chart and first on Tower Record Daily Chart and HMV 24-hour Chart.”
Then, the agency continued, “Unlike other artists, it was really hard for us to distribute JYJ’s album in Japan. Although new album’s release took about two months, the group’s fans love its album.”
It is JYJ’s first time to distribute its album officially in Japan. Despite of many limits, the group’s popularity kept increasing. In particular, its official album ‘Just Us’, released in Korea, ranked first on Tower Record Monthly Chart and second on Oricon Weekly Chart in Japan.
Moreover, JYJ proved its popularity by holding Tokyo Dome solo concert and Japan Dome Tour and met over 240,000 fans.
The manager in Japan said, “JYJ’s single album in Japan became a hot issue. Without any promotion, the album swept music charts in Japan.”

KJJ FOOD SUPPORT FOR SPY – An Early Birthday Gift for our Dearest Jaejoong
Last January 20, 2015, at about 12:30
midnight, we surprised Kim Jaejoong at the SPY Shooting Location. It was
our way of showing our love and support to Jaejoong for his new drama
SPY and an advance celebration of his birthday on January 26.
Indeed JJ was surprised with our simple
cake and birthday banner with the heartwarming messages from his
Filipino and international fans who participated in our KJJ Food Support
Project. He read the messages while enjoying his Americano and was
touched that his Filipino and international fans gave him encouraging
words of support and love. He took home the Belgian White Chocolate cake
we gave him and our love messages!!! ^____^ He said our surprise and
messages made him feel warm and that he will be enjoying the cake at
home!
The shooting lasted until dawn but
Jaejoong didn’t hesitate to pose for a picture with our coffee and snack
trucks in the background. A special treat for his Filipino Fans!
As a part of our surprise, we sent him a
video which was played while the cast and crew enjoyed their snacks and
coffee. Jaejoong was truly touched while watching our video for him.
Here’s what we sent him:

As a sign of his appreciation, JJ gave us
another sign ^_____^. His manager also expressed his gratitude to our
team for always supporting Jaejoong and for organizing this Food support
project.
Our sponsored coffee and snack trucks gave
the best service for our dearest Kim Jaejoong, the staff, crew and all
the cast of SPY. Our coffee truck courtesy of Mr. Kim’s Coffee served a
wide variety of coffee, juice, fruit ades and cookies, while our snack
truck by Hyanglim’s Food Catering served Tteokbukki, Oden and Fried
Korean snacks. There were about 100 crew members and staff at the
location who were delighted to drink warm coffee and eat the delicious
snacks.
The staff and crew were amazed at how our
team planned and prepared everything, knowing we live so far away. We
proved to them that distance or language barrier will not and cannot
hinder us from showing our love for KIM KAEJOONG!
Words cannot express how happy we are with
our Project’s turn-out. We simply wanted to show JJ our love and
support, but he gave back more than what we wished for.

C-JeS Entertainment, Kim Jae Joong’s agency, announced on January 21, “Kim Jae Joong departed for Japan on January 20 in order to attend the fan meeting 2015 Kim Jae Joong J-Party In Yokohama. As soon as the news went out oabout Kim Jae Joong’s arrival in the country, the fans began gathering at Haneda Airport and about 500 fans from around the nation crowded the airport.”
As soon as he showed up, the fans started shouting out ‘Kim Jae Joong’ as they welcomed him and Kim Jae Joong responded by waving at them.
An affiliate of the airport said, “All of the workers at the airport had to mobilize because so many fans started gathering in the morning. Apart from the fans, the Japanese reporters also gathered in order to report on Kim Jae Joong’s arrival, proving his continuing popularity in Japan.”
Kim Jae Joong’s fan meeting will be launched on January 21 at the Yokohama Arena.

The author of the upcoming drama, Lee Hee Myung, is the same writer who wrote the dramas “Rooftop Prince” and “King of Ambition” among other works.
The upcoming SBS drama will premiere in April after the drama “Jekyll, Hyde, Me” concludes.
